Yes. Genesis MD works with some major insurance plans.

Membership includes body composition evaluation, EKG, spirometry testing, grip strength testing and peripheral circulation testing in addition to a comprehensive wellness assessment to personalize your health care plan. We will continue to provide annual physicals, acute care visits, chronic disease management and routine preventative screenings.

Our appointments are longer than traditional office visits, giving patients time to ask questions and fully discuss concerns. This extended approach allows us to provide more thorough, personalized care.
Yes. We offer same-day or next-day acute care visits for urgent needs such as flu, strep, minor injuries, or sudden illnesses.
Yes. Genesis MD offers comprehensive women’s health services including screenings, family planning, and menopause management, as well as referrals to trusted specialists when needed.
Our physicians and nurse practitioner develop a customized, supervised weight loss plan based on your goals, health history, and lifestyle. Plans may include nutrition guidance, prescription options, and regular progress monitoring.
Yes. We provide customized hormone therapy for both men and women (excluding pellet therapy). Treatment is tailored to restore energy, balance, and long-term health.

We perform skin procedures not limited to biopsies, excisions, and wound suturing in a comfortable, professional environment.

We offer onsite lab draws (processed by Quest Diagnostics), rapid testing for COVID-19, flu, strep, and urinalysis. Routine vaccines for children and adults are also available depending on insurance coverage.
We coordinate closely with trusted specialists and prefer patients consult us before scheduling referrals. In case of hospitalization, we recommend care within the Methodist Healthcare System, though patients may choose their preferred facility.

We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. Repeated no-shows may result in dismissal from the practice. If you are late, we may reschedule to keep other patients on time. Please refer to our “No Show and Late Policies”.

Please bring an updated medication list to each visit. You should contact your pharmacy first to initiate the refill request. Then if you are directed by your pharmacy to contact your provider, your refill requests should include dosage, strength, and preferred pharmacy (local or mail order). Allow 48 hours for processing during regular office hours.

New patients can complete forms online (new patient paperwork, HIPAA, payment agreement, emergency contact, records release) before their first visit. Contact our office at 210-759-1420 to schedule your first appointment.
